Erica Muniz Rivera, 31, was arrested on Friday, Nov. 4, after a traffic stop, Chelsea police said. Officers said they found 91 grams of what they believe is the synthetic opioid and nearly 30 grams of rock cocaine. Muniz faces multiple drug charges.

Investigators said they'd noticed a recent uptick in drugs around Congress, Shawmut, and Shurtleff streets. Police have increased their presence in that neighborhood to combat the rise.
